Our service

Roanoke Companion Care is a free referral and matching service. We introduce families to independent care providers. We are not a home care agency, do not employ caregivers, do not provide care or medical advice and do not supervise the services providers deliver.

No guarantee of a match or of services

We make reasonable efforts to identify providers who fit your request, but we cannot guarantee that a provider will be available, will contact you within any particular time or will accept your loved one as a client. Any agreement for care is solely between you and the provider.

Provider responsibility

Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, staffing, pricing and quality of care. Although we ask providers about their licenses, insurance and screening practices, you should verify these directly before engaging any provider. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any provider.

Compensation

Providers may pay us referral or marketing fees. These fees do not affect the rates you pay a provider.
